SUPREME SILICONES SS OMS 250 is an Organo-modified Silicones (OMS) with excellent properties of surface tensions used for surface treatment of inorganic fillers and any pigments used in thermoplastic formulations. Different molecular arrangements of OMS derivatives are available.

APPLICATIONS

SS OMS 250 can be applied directly to the pigment, e.g. during a spray drying or milling operation or in a tumble mixer with dosage of 0.5 to 3% for 40% pigment loading. SS OMS 250 is liquid additive used for surface treatment to improve dispersion properties:
- Inorganic fillers e.g. titanium dioxide, talc
- Inorganic pigments e.g. marine blue, iron oxides
- Organic pigments
- Flame retardants
SS OMS 250 is also used in the formulation of master batches as liquid dispersing additive.
SS OMS 250 is high temperature stable that it can be used in steam mill processes with elevated temperature much above 200 °C.
